Structural Characteristics

The machine is a fine instrument, which is integrated in optics, mechanics and electricity.

Optical Path:

As the 1064nm laser, which is emitted by the laser, is an invisible pulsed light, so an indicating and collimating beam must be needed. In order to minimize the volume, we use a He-Ne laser, which emits a red light of 633nm, as an indicating and collimating beam coaxially output with the Nd: YAG laser. The working media of the master laser is a high-quality Nd: YAG rod, and the machine is pumped by a high repetition-rate lamp. A Φ0.9mm optical fiber made of quartz is used for the laser delivery system, the output end of which can reach and is inserted into any part of patient’s oral cavity.

Power Supply          

A compact switching power supply is adopted, which has output of less than 500W, working at the repetition rate of 1Hz,5Hz,10Hz. The mains voltage used by the machine is AC 220V, 50Hz.

Mechanics

The metal case of the instrument is used, which is of small volume and durable. A reliable optical bench is adopted in need of high stability of the machine. The supporting optics board is a plate made of reinforced cast aluminum, which is hard to distort. A stainless steel tank and a magnetic pump are used in the recycling system of cooling water, where a recycling passage is connected by means of a hard pipe, so the blocking of the water path can be avoided.

Indications and Contraindications

1.Indications

  Our medical laser instrument for oral cavity is mainly applied to pure gingivitis, flatness lichen in oral cavity, periodontitis, pulpits, pericoronitis, dental caries and diseases of oral mucosa, no matter whether the patient is male or female, and how old he or she is.

2.Contraindications

   The instrument can’t treat the following patients. They are:

(1) He or she suffers from a certain disease seriously.

(2) He or she is ill from a mental disease, and can’t be followed by the doctor.

(3) He or she suffers from a skin disease, and is allergic by light.

(4) A woman who gives birth to a baby less than for five months.
